Art Therapy Programs

Art therapy is a form of counselling that uses drawing, painting, clay, collage and sandplay as a means of expressing thoughts, feelings, emotions, and traumas. Art Therapy is a gentle yet powerful way to process difficult emotions.

Recent research in neuroscience has discovered that trauma is not retained in verbal form, and what has not been articulated in words or shaped, cannot be outwardly expressed. Art Therapy, however, works beyond the mind at the emotional level and can give form to trauma through shapes, image and symbols. Great healing arises through expressing your feeling state, and making sense of its meaning and purpose.
